NEUROREHABILITATION AT THE BEGINNING OF THE
NEW MILLENIUM

The scientific meeting, organised by the Order of
Malta's Grand Priory of Messina Delegation within
the framework of the "Jubilee Events", will take
place on Saturday, 26 February 2000 in the Aula
Magna of the University of Messina.
The meeting will be opened by the Grand Chancellor
of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Amb. Count
Don Carlo Marullo di Condojanni; afterwards H.E.
Msgr. Giovanni Marra, Archbishop of Messina, Lipari
and Santa Lucia del Mela will talk about "Suffering
and Faith".
The papers will be given by Prof. Salvatore
Giacuinto, Chief Physician for Neurorehabilitation
of the San Raffaele Tosinvest Hospital - Rome, and
by Prof. Dino Bramanti, Director of the University
of Messina's Centre for the Study and Treatment of
the Brain-Injured and Long-Stay Patients. Moderator
will be Prof. Raoul Di Perri, Head of the First
Department of Neurology of the University of
Messina. Prof. Franco Tomasello, Director of the
Neurosurgery Department and Head of the Faculty of
Medicine and Surgery of the University of Messina,
will give the concluding talk.
