The "Cabrevatio Bonorum" Exhibition

The exhibition of the "Cabrevatio Bonorum" of the Order's Priories, Bailiwicks and Commende set up in its castle in Magione (Perugia) in September by the International Order of Malta Study Centre presided over by Prof. Paolo Caucci von Saucken and organised by the Keeper of the Grand Magistry's Archives, Fra' John E. Critien, member of the Sovereign Council. The exhibition was inaugurated by H.M.E.H. the Prince and Grand Master, Fra' Andrew Bertie in the presence of the Order's High Officers and civil, religious and cultural authorities of the region. A monograph was published to mark the occasion in co-operation with the University of Perugia and the Cassa di Risparmio. The Order's Grand Chancellor, Amb. Count Carlo Marullo di Condojanni, stressed in his introduction "the important historical significance, often also of considerable artistic value, of the documents, since not only do they illustrate the Order's possessions in its various stages, but also the philosophy which inspired and still inspires their management".
