LOURDES TRAIN 1998
Dear Pilgrims, As you know, in 1999 the Order will celebrate 900 years in the service of the Sick and the Poor. I therefore ask all of you to consider this pilgrimage as a chance to prepare for this important event. Let us appeal to our Lady of Philerimus, our Patron Saint, that our commitment may grow, rendering our service to others a real expression of Christian charity which will enlighten us and bless our efforts. Let us give thanks to our predecessors for what they have taught us and let us pray that we, in turn, may be a precious example for our successors. Ave Maria. Fra’ Andrew Bertie
